We are Lyndsey and Sam a sister team with over 47 years child care experience between us,

                           we have worked in various settings such as nurseries, childminding, nannying and working with SEN children within these settings.

                           We opened our doors to our brand new children’s day nursery Happy Little Hedgehogs Day Nursery in November 2022. 

                          Offering affordable, home from home childcare in a safe, happy and caring environment.

                          We are firm believers in child led learning and endeavour to inspire the children to learn new skills and thrive in their confidence, curiosity and resilience in their early years.

                          We feel children also learn from the environment around them,

                     and with this in mind we will take the children as often as possible within the local community to pique their interest in learning through exploration and play.

                         Our aim at Happy Little Hedgehogs Day Nursery is to provide a welcoming, friendly and secure setting where children can learn and thrive,

                       we will support children with important life skills such as learning to be independent, being kind and respectful of others and to develop qualities such as  perseverance, confidence, enthusiasm and tolerance.
